Crew Control Specialist

About the Role

flynas is seeking a Crew Control Specialist to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves executing, managing, and controlling published crew pairings and rosters, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and maintaining a high level of On-Time Performance (OTP).

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize crew pairings and rosters among full-time crew members.
• Control roster block hour variance for available full-time crew.
• Generate statistics and dashboard components to support data-driven decisions, such as comparing budgeted crew layover costs against generated crew pairings relative to the final network flight schedule.
• Develop and endorse process and procedure improvements in crew control.
• Manage On-Time Performance (OTP) and prevent delays or cancellations attributable to Crew Planning and Control (CPC).
• Manage and facilitate communication with crew members and other stakeholders.
• Validate and amend fatigue-inducing crew pairing or roster designs and implement corrective measures.
• Propose system enhancement features to improve crew management system results and output.
• Analyze and reconcile aircraft rotation plans with published crew pairings and rosters.
• Arrange logistical support for the execution of published crew pairings and rosters.
• Publish reports to stakeholders.

Policy, Procedures, and Control

• Display independence in deciding and completing routine tasks.
• Initiate, report, mitigate, and resolve safety-related incidents using the official reporting system.
• Improve strategies by documenting standard practices and procedures.

Safety and Security

• Submit safety reports if exposed to any safety hazard or issue.
• Understand and comply with safety precautions outlined in manuals and safety publications.
• Immediately report all safety hazards, accidents/incidents, injuries, and damage to the concerned supervisor.
• Actively contribute to flynas Safety Objectives through effective execution of assigned roles and responsibilities, supporting flynas safety performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience for this role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring communication with operations management and relevant offices.
