About the Role

Lucent is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cssd Technician to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment and supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care within a dental setting. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and offers a salary range of SAR 3,750 - SAR 5,625.

Role Purpose

The Cssd Technician is responsible for the comprehensive management of dental instruments and equipment. This includes cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, preparation, and distribution, all while ensuring strict adherence to infection prevention and sterilization standards. The successful candidate will play a critical role in upholding clinical safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, inspect, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments and equipment.
• Operate and monitor autoclaves and other sterilization equipment according to established protocols.
• Perform routine biological, chemical, and mechanical monitoring of sterilization processes.
• Maintain accurate sterilization records and documentation.
• Prepare instrument trays and procedure kits for dental clinics.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of contaminated materials and medical waste.
• Monitor inventory levels of sterile supplies and report shortages.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CSSD equipment.
• Follow infection prevention and control policies, OSHA guidelines, and local health regulations.
• Collaborate with dentists, dental assistants, and clinical staff to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a CSSD Technician or in a similar sterile processing role.
• Demonstrated understanding of infection prevention and sterilization standards.
• Proficiency in operating and monitoring sterilization equipment.
