This full-time position is for a senior management consultant who will act as a technology strategist, supporting clients in achieving greater business value from technology. The role requires over 10 years of experience in relevant fields.

Role Overview and Impact

The Cisco Advisory team provides a premium experience to clients, combining the Cisco brand with skilled individuals. This role delivers custom-built advisory services tailored to specific client needs, leveraging years of industry exposure and market understanding. The advisor assists clients in aligning business and technology agendas, identifying areas where innovation can drive business value, and optimizing technology budgets and organizational efficiency.

Core Responsibilities

• Work as a trusted advisor with senior customers to identify market trends and discover opportunities for technology to create new business value.
• Develop or validate technology strategies, support business cases, and define required transformation programs.
• Build or enhance operating models for effective technology governance and alignment between business and technology.
• Lead initiatives to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the technology organization, covering processes, tools, and people, including the introduction of orchestration and automation.
• Develop technology reference architectures, service portfolios, and contribute to associated product development.
• Compose and perform technology benchmarking, and develop cost optimization strategies and action plans, including service and application rationalization.
• Develop and advocate innovative perspectives on how digital technologies will transform business operations.
• Act as an entrepreneur, including challenging traditional viewpoints at the client C-level.
• Actively identify and develop new business opportunities for Cisco through advisory services.

Candidate Requirements

• Over 10 years of demonstrated experience navigating diverse segments, including Enterprise, Government, and Service Provider sectors.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Flexibility to travel and work across the EMEAR region.
• An entrepreneurial mindset characterized by the ability to challenge traditional viewpoints and provide strategic counsel at the C-suite level.
