About the Role

Talent Diamond is seeking an experienced Customs Clearance Officer for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role supports a leading regional logistics and supply chain company, focusing on the efficient and timely clearance of import and export shipments. The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with Saudi Customs requirements, company procedures, and customer expectations.

Role Responsibilities

The Customs Clearance Officer will handle customs documentation, declarations, and clearance coordination for shipments moving through Saudi Arabia. This involves close collaboration with customs authorities, freight-forwarding teams, transportation providers, warehouses, and operations teams to ensure efficient and timely release of shipments.

  • Prepare and submit import and export customs declarations through the Bayan system.
  • Review shipping and customs documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with Saudi Customs authorities and support customs inspections and approval processes.
  • Monitor shipments until final customs release and coordinate with freight forwarding, transportation, and warehouse operations.
  • Resolve customs-related discrepancies and documentation issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Customs laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate clearance records and supporting documents for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Obtain required shipment information from internal departments.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent minimum.
  • Certification in Customs Clearance, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or logistics.
  • Practical knowledge of Saudi customs-clearance procedures.
  • Experience using the Bayan system is preferred.
  • Experience dealing with customs and regulatory authorities.
  • Strong understanding of import/export documentation.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Customs regulations and trade compliance.
