The Role of Customs Clearance Officer

Noon is looking for a Customs Clearance Officer to join the Cross Border logistics team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing import and export clearance operations for both freezone and mainland activities. The officer will be responsible for accurate data entry, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting the team with necessary documentation. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter import and export shipment data into the company’s ERP system.
• Prepare, verify, and process shipping documentation required for customs clearance.
• Ensure full compliance with freezone and mainland customs regulations.
• Coordinate effectively with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain organized records of all shipments and clearance documents.
• Verify the accuracy of data received from suppliers and clients.
• Assist in tracking shipments and providing updates to stakeholders on clearance status.
• Generate periodic reports on clearance operations and data accuracy.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in data entry, preferably within the import/export sector.
• Familiarity with freezone and mainland import/export procedures and regulations.
• Proficiency in data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Preferred certification in logistics or supply chain management.
• Experience with ERP systems related to logistics and clearance operations.
