About the Role

Al-Futtaim Automotive Logistics is seeking a Customs Broker for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is part of a Saudization initiative and is responsible for managing customs clearance procedures for finished vehicles, spare parts, and related shipments. The Customs Broker ensures full compliance with Saudi Customs regulations and local authorities, coordinating closely with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transporters to facilitate timely clearance and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively manage each job in a timely manner for allocated customers.
• Clear incoming and outgoing air and sea freight shipments in accordance with terms and schedules.
• Perform VCC corrections by coordinating with customs authorities, raising tickets, and resolving time-critical issues.
• Ensure timely verification of original shipping documents, correct HS Code classification, and duty/tax calculation for processing Bayan.
• Efficiently manage job registration, update details in EDI Cargo Wise, handle invoicing, and electronic document management.
• Handle additional customer jobs as needed, especially during annual leave and as assigned by the Team Leader or Operations Manager.
• Ensure timely invoicing and avoid the issuance of credit notes.
• Prepare and submit reporting dashboards and daily reports as requested, in the specified formats.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates for this role should possess 3-5 years of experience in customs brokerage or a related field. Success requires a thorough understanding of customs regulations and clearance procedures, effective management of customer operations, and the ability to meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The role demands flexibility with working hours and proficiency in managing multiple customer jobs simultaneously.
