About the Role

ES Consulting is seeking two Cybersecurity Assurance Specialists with a focus on Penetration Testing. These contract positions are based on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where specialists will join a resident cybersecurity team supporting a leading government entity. The role involves executing comprehensive penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen security postures.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to proactively identify and assess security weaknesses across various IT environments. Specialists will contribute directly to enhancing the cybersecurity resilience of a critical government entity by simulating real-world attack scenarios and providing actionable insights for remediation.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute penetration tests across networks, applications, and cloud environments.
• Simulate realistic attack scenarios, including privilege escalation and lateral movement.
• Classify findings by risk severity and business impact.
• Deliver detailed technical and executive-level reports and present them to stakeholders.
• Conduct retesting to verify remediation effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically within penetration testing. The ideal candidate will also meet the following requirements:

• Strong knowledge of attack surfaces across networks, applications, and cloud environments.
• Solid command of OWASP testing methodologies and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, or CEH are preferred.

Work Environment and Location

This is a contract position requiring full-time, on-site presence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The specialists will integrate into a dedicated resident cybersecurity team, working directly within the government entity's operational environment.
