About the Role

Searce is seeking a Data Architect to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the design, execution, and real-world impact of AI-powered transformations for clients through advanced data engineering solutions. The position focuses on shaping and driving AI-powered transformation from foundational principles, leveraging strong data engineering and architecture expertise.

Role Context and Approach

As a forward-deployed solver (fds) and Directly Responsible Individual (DRI), the Data Architect will collaborate with client stakeholders to achieve transformative business outcomes by challenging existing methods. This role requires leading architectural efforts from initial data ingestion to high-velocity production pipelines. It is a hands-on position, demanding a process-first mindset and full accountability for technical data solutions, their quality, and realized production outcomes. The architect will design scalable data products that convert complex data into high-velocity business intelligence, emphasizing data quality and modern cloud platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical data solution delivery that supports client revenue and success, including forecasting, architecting, and executing data strategies.
• Architect and deliver data products that build client trust and accelerate data-driven decision-making.
• Leverage and deepen technical alliances with hyperscalers (GCP/AWS/Azure), modern data stack ISVs, and AI platforms to enable advanced pipeline and storage capabilities.
• Serve as the lead technical voice in strategic client conversations, translating business problems into high-velocity data engineering solutions.
• Lead discovery workshops using first-principles thinking to identify client problems suitable for AI-powered data architectures.
• Apply the proprietary evlos methodology for rapid iteration in designing and developing automated data ecosystems.
• Act as the chief technical translator between client business challenges and cloud-native data platforms.
• Design AI-native, cloud-forward data solutions grounded in process intelligence to drive improved outcomes.
• Deliver production-grade automation and real-world data flows for clients.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Architectural Pedigree: 8+ years of progressive experience driving AI-driven, cloud-native data transformations with a process-first mindset and a portfolio of high-velocity data products.
• Technical Growth Leadership: Proven track record of architecting complex platforms such as Lakehouses, Real-time Streaming, and Platform Migrations that support client revenue and expand strategic engagements.
• Client-Facing Technical Authority: Direct experience as a lead builder and consultative architect, acting as a DRI and trusted authority in translating business visions into technical blueprints.
• Cloud & AI-Native Fluency: Expert-level mastery of major cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) and the modern data stack, with experience building with AI (*, GitHub Copilot) and for AI (*, RAG pipelines, Vector DBs).
• Domain Expertise: Strong background in Enterprise Data Platforms, Applied AI/ML, Generative AI integration, or large-scale Cloud Data Migration.
• Transformation Portfolio: Evidence of leading large-scale, end-to-end transformations, demonstrating architectures with cost-performance benchmarks.
