About the Role

DXC Technology is seeking a Solution Architect Lead Data Airport to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience in data architecture or a related field. The role focuses on leading data initiatives within the airport program, ensuring robust and secure data infrastructure.

Role Purpose

The Lead Solution Architect - Data is responsible for owning the data architecture across the entire airport program. This encompasses operational data, integration data, analytics, data governance, and data protection throughout the airport ecosystem. The role involves leading data design and standards to ensure data is well-modelled, trustworthy, secure, and readily available to support airport operations, decision-making processes, and the overall passenger journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the data architecture, including conceptual, logical, and physical models, data flows, and platforms.
• Define data standards, master and reference data, integration data, and analytics architecture.
• Design data platforms such as data warehouses, data lakes, streaming platforms, and operational data stores (*, AODB data).
• Establish data governance frameworks, quality standards, data lineage, and stewardship practices.
• Embed data protection, privacy, and compliance requirements into all data designs.
• Ensure data resilience, availability, and performance for critical operational use.
• Lead and mentor data architects and analysts, governing the quality of data designs.
• Support estimation, planning, and risk management activities for the data domain.
• Engage effectively with business, analytics, and operational stakeholders.
