Role Overview: Data Infrastructure Supervisor

Albawani is seeking a Data Infrastructure Supervisor to lead a small team of data engineers, analysts, and external consultants. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on managing a robust data infrastructure built on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. The supervisor will be instrumental in supporting machine learning and AI initiatives, ensuring data quality, and providing actionable insights to inform strategic business decisions across the company's subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks to the team and monitor progress effectively.
• Provide guidance and support for ongoing data initiatives and projects.
• Conduct performance reviews and foster skill development within the team.
• Oversee ETL/ELT pipelines and manage data ingestion into Microsoft Fabric.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and security across the infrastructure.
• Optimize performance of data systems and manage workspaces efficiently.
• Manage Power BI workspaces and implement appropriate access controls.
• Support the development of reports and dashboards for various business needs.
• Assist subsidiaries in adopting analytics best practices and tools.
• Coordinate the deployment of machine learning models into production environments.
• Integrate predictive outputs from models into dashboards and operational workflows.
• Support the utilization of Copilot and other generative AI tools to enhance insights.
• Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor resource usage and costs to support backcharging processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in resource efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is the minimum educational requirement.
• 2-4 years of practical experience in Microsoft Fabric or Power BI deployments.
• A Microsoft Fabric or Power BI certification is necessary.
• Demonstrated experience supervising small teams or coordinating external consultants.
• Basic understanding of AI and machine learning applications.
