Data Scientist

About the Role

Auxo Talent is seeking a Data Scientist for a contract position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires strong experience in banking analytics, credit/debit card analytics, customer segmentation, and predictive modeling to support data-driven business and customer strategy initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer, transaction, and portfolio data to identify business opportunities and trends.
• Develop customer segmentation models based on behavioral, transactional, and demographic data.
• Build and apply predictive models for customer behavior, retention, acquisition, cross-sell, upsell, and propensity.
• Analyze credit card portfolio performance, customer spend, revenue, and profitability.
• Support campaign analytics and measure campaign performance and ROI.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer engagement, revenue, and portfolio performance.
• Perform statistical analysis and translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Work closely with business, product, marketing, and risk stakeholders.
• Develop analytical reports and dashboards to communicate insights effectively.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant data science or data analytics role.
• Experience in Banking / Financial Services.
• Proficiency in Credit Card / Debit Card analytics.
• Expertise in Customer Segmentation.
• Strong background in Predictive Modeling / Machine Learning.
• Experience with Customer / Portfolio Analytics.
• Skills in Revenue & Profitability Analytics.
• Strong SQL and Python programming skills.
• Experience working with transaction/customer data.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Customer Lifetime Value (CLV).
• Knowledge of Churn / Attrition Modeling.
• Familiarity with Propensity Modeling.
• Skills in Cross-sell / Upsell strategies.
• Experience with Next Best Offer / Next Best Action.
• Background in Campaign Analytics and Spend Analytics.
• Understanding of Credit Risk Analytics and Statistical Modeling.
• Proficiency with visualization tools such as Power BI / Tableau.
• Experience with PySpark.
