The Role: Demi Chef De Partie

Plaza Premium Group is seeking a Demi Chef De Partie to join its full-time team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is based within the company's airport lounges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Demi Chef De Partie will play a crucial part in supporting all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring consistent adherence to food quality, hygiene, and presentation standards, in line with company policies and Saudi regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement instructions provided by the Sous Chef and senior kitchen team members.
  • Assist with food preparation, cooking, and general kitchen duties.
  • Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene across all kitchen areas, equipment, and workstations.
  • Ensure food quality, portion sizes, and presentation consistently meet company standards.
  • Monitor ingredient quality during the ordering and delivery processes.
  • Support smooth daily kitchen operations and address basic operational issues as they arise.
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly shift schedules and staff rosters.
  • Contribute to inventory control, stock rotation, and food cost management.
  • Promote teamwork and participate in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality management systems.
  • Identify areas for improvement and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in hotel, catering, or kitchen operations.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, hygiene standards, and kitchen safety protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and teamwork.

Work Environment and Expectations

The Demi Chef De Partie will operate within an airport environment in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role requires a willingness to work shift duties as needed to support continuous kitchen operations.
