GDC Middle East is seeking a dedicated Depot POL / HAZMAT Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is critical for ensuring the safe and compliant management of petroleum, oils, lubricants, and hazardous materials within our operations.

Role Overview

The Depot POL / HAZMAT Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations related to the handling, storage, and disposal of Petroleum, Oils, and Lubricants (POL) and Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT). This position ensures strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations, directly contributing to overall mission readiness and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the receipt, storage, and issuance of POL and HAZMAT materials.
• Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and tracking of all POL and HAZMAT items.
• Assist in the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials in full compliance with relevant regulations.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and reconciliations to maintain accurate records.
• Utilize logistics management information systems (MIS) for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all POL and HAZMAT transactions.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure all POL and HAZMAT materials meet required specifications.
• Conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing POL and HAZMAT materials to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures during all POL and HAZMAT operations.
• Conduct safety briefings and training sessions for personnel involved in POL and HAZMAT operations.
• Assist in the implementation of safety and environmental control measures.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely availability of POL and HAZMAT materials.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare and submit required reports and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in managing POL and HAZMAT operations.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring on-site presence to manage daily depot operations effectively.
