The Role of Deputy Interface Manager (Technical)

SYSTRA is seeking a Deputy Interface Manager (Technical), a Saudi National, to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, on-site position requires over 10 years of experience. The primary responsibility of this role is to monitor and manage project design interfaces, ensuring effective coordination across all project disciplines and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and track interfaces between railway systems, civil works, and external projects to support seamless project integration.
• Review and validate contractor interface deliverables, including interface management plans, matrices, registers, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Identify and address interface-related issues with contractors and provide guidance on effective solutions for project delivery.
• Assess contractor interface management performance and recommend corrective actions as required.
• Facilitate coordination between Metro Design-Build packages and surrounding projects to ensure alignment of design and construction activities.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders, third parties, and project management organizations to support interface management objectives.
• Collaborate closely with Lead Civil, Lead Systems, Lead Depot, and Lead Operations & Maintenance teams to resolve interface challenges.
• Ensure consistency and alignment between railway subsystems, civil works, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Engage with contractor interface managers to monitor interface progress, resolve issues, and support project delivery requirements.
• Prepare interface reports, action trackers, and status updates for project management and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Saudi National.
• Over 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and manage complex project design interfaces.
• Experience in coordinating across multiple project disciplines and stakeholders.

Work Environment

This is an on-site, full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
