About the Opportunity

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Design Manager Structural & Civil to join our dedicated team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to supporting the successful design and delivery of major development projects within a rapidly expanding developer portfolio.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all structural and civil engineering design activities. A key aspect of this role involves ensuring that engineering solutions are fully coordinated, practical, and precisely aligned with overall project objectives and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage structural and civil engineering consultants and their design deliverables.
Review engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and technical submissions.
Coordinate interfaces between buildings, infrastructure, utilities, and public realm elements.
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
Participate in design reviews, risk workshops, and value engineering exercises.
Monitor consultant performance and programme commitments.
Support technical decision-making throughout design development.
Coordinate engineering inputs across multidisciplinary project teams.
Assist with tender reviews and construction support activities when required.

Candidate Requirements

A minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience in structural and civil design management.
Demonstrated experience on large-scale mixed-use, residential, commercial, or hospitality developments.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a dedicated presence to effectively manage project design and delivery within the region.
