About Qiddiya and the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Director Commercial Partnerships CM to lead all commercial activities for its heritage and cultural program in Riyadh. This full-time role involves overseeing partnerships, sponsorships, retail, and overall revenue generation, ensuring financial targets are met and commercial opportunities are integrated across programming and operations.

Role Summary

The Director Commercial Partnerships CM is responsible for developing and executing the comprehensive commercial strategy for the heritage and cultural program. This includes defining revenue models, leading planning and forecasting, and ensuring the delivery of financial targets in alignment with asset objectives and cultural programming plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall commercial strategy, aligning with asset objectives and financial targets.
  • Define revenue models across all streams, including sponsorships, retail, F&B, ticketing (if applicable), and activations.
  • Lead revenue planning, forecasting, and target setting in coordination with Finance & Performance.
  • Oversee all retail, F&B, and commercial activations across the site, defining the commercial mix and tenant strategy.
  • Manage the performance of operators and vendors to ensure quality, compliance, and revenue delivery.
  • Continuously optimize revenue streams through pricing, product mix, and commercial innovation.
  • Oversee commercial vendor and operator selection, contract management, and performance agreements in coordination with Procurement.

Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop and manage a structured sponsorship and partnership strategy aligned with programming and marketing plans.
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure high-value sponsorship and partnership agreements.
  • Design sponsorship packages in collaboration with Programming and Marketing teams.
  • Manage relationships with sponsors, partners, and key government/cultural partners to ensure contractual obligations and value realization.
  • Drive long-term strategic partnerships that enhance both revenue and experience.

Performance and Integration

  • Monitor and analyze performance across all revenue streams, tracking KPIs such as revenue per visitor and conversion rates.
  • Identify underperforming areas and implement corrective actions, providing regular reporting and insights to the General Manager and leadership team.
  • Work closely with Programming to embed commercial opportunities within cultural experiences and align activities with visitor flow and engagement strategies.
  • Ensure commercial offerings and partnerships are fully integrated into cultural programming while balancing commercial objectives with cultural integrity and experience quality.
  • Align commercial strategy and performance with Asset Management direction and coordinate with Group functions where required.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of relevant experience in commercial leadership, with a proven track record in partnerships, sponsorships, retail, and revenue generation within a heritage or cultural context. Success in this role will be measured by revenue generation and target achievement, the value of sponsorships and partnerships, and the overall performance of retail and F&B operations.
