Role Summary

Qiddiya is seeking a Director Commercial Systems & Rolling Stock DA to lead the commercial management and strategic oversight of systems and rolling stock procurement, contracts, and reporting. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, is essential for the successful delivery of transportation and infrastructure projects by ensuring effective commercial governance, robust risk management, and optimal financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all commercial activities related to systems and rolling stock, including contract negotiation, procurement, and vendor management.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies focused on optimizing cost efficiency and achieving value for money.
• Oversee financial reporting and conduct commercial analysis specifically for systems and rolling stock projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to ensure commercial objectives align with project milestones and budgets.
• Manage project risks through proactive identification, development of mitigation strategies, and continuous monitoring of contract compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, detailing financial performance, identified risks, and emerging opportunities.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies pertaining to commercial management.
• Lead, mentor, and foster the professional development of the commercial team, with a focus on systems and rolling stock disciplines.
• Engage with suppliers, contractors, and external stakeholders to build strategic partnerships and facilitate successful project delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for commercial processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms.

Professional Expertise

• Proven expertise in contract negotiation, procurement processes, and commercial governance.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, cost control, and risk management principles.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant commercial leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience working on large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects, ideally within the Middle East region.
