About the Role
RAWAJ is seeking a Director of Awareness, Communication & Beneficiary Support to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading communication, awareness, and beneficiary support functions within the government services and process facilitation sector. The Director will ensure effective stakeholder engagement, public awareness, and service excellence, aligning all initiatives with the organization's strategic objectives.
Role Overview
The Director will oversee media relations, engagement with government and international stakeholders, communication campaigns, and beneficiary support services. This position is responsible for ensuring all initiatives are delivered with high impact, consistency, and alignment with corporate priorities, contributing to the organization's overall success in government services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, lead, and continuously improve the organization's communication, awareness, and beneficiary support strategy, framework, and reporting standards.
- Manage local and international communication campaigns and awareness initiatives across multiple channels and audiences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, international representations, media outlets, and influencers.
- Oversee the management of official spokespersons and the development of key messaging and communication materials.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align communication priorities with organizational objectives and strategic direction.
- Develop executive-level dashboards, campaign performance reports, and impact analyses for the CEO and Executive Committee.
- Oversee beneficiary support services, including complaints and inquiries management, prioritization, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Manage and evaluate service providers for awareness, communication, and beneficiary support, defining scope of work and monitoring performance.
- Ensure communication governance, documentation, approvals, and reporting align with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Promote best practices in campaign measurement, engagement analytics, reach, and impact assessment.
- Lead, coach, and develop the communication and beneficiary support team to build organizational capability.
- Drive stakeholder alignment, communication, and change management across business functions.
- Track communication outcomes, beneficiary satisfaction, and lessons learned to continuously improve service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Media, Corporate Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Significant experience managing communication, awareness, and media campaign strategies locally and internationally.
- Proven experience managing relationships with government entities, international representations, media, and influencers.
- Experience managing official spokespersons and developing communication and messaging materials.
- Strong ability to plan and measure campaign performance, analyze impact, and prepare executive-level reports and presentations.
- Experience managing beneficiary support services, complaints, inquiries, prioritization, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Experience managing awareness, communication, and beneficiary support service providers, including scope definition and performance monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of media analytics tools, engagement measurement, reach, and impact tracking.
- Fluency in English is required; experience in international and multicultural environments is preferred.
- Professional certifications in Corporate Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or Customer Experience Management are preferred.
- Experience with the direct Hajj model, pilgrim categories, and countries is preferred.
