Egis is a global organization with over 23,500 employees worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Director of Projects to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time senior leadership position focused on overseeing major project delivery.

Role Overview

The Director of Projects will oversee the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of major projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations. This role requires decisive leadership, fostering a collaborative team environment, and driving continuous improvement across all project delivery functions. The Director will contribute to complex, high-value initiatives and support the development of project management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate a clear project vision and strategic roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
• Provide leadership to project teams, championing best practices and process improvements in project delivery.
• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of major projects from inception through completion, establishing comprehensive project frameworks.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost control, and data-driven decisions regarding resource allocation.
• Implement comprehensive risk management frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and external stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships through transparent communication.
• Oversee contract administration, including negotiation, execution, and compliance monitoring, and manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
• Establish quality standards and monitor project performance against KPIs, conducting regular reviews and audits.
• Build and lead high-performing project teams, assessing staff capabilities, arranging training, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive experience in project management.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level role.
• Proven expertise in project planning, budgeting, financial management, cost control, contract negotiation, and risk management processes.
• Experience in infrastructure, construction, engineering, or major capital projects is preferred, particularly in the Middle East.
