The Role

Riyadh University of Arts is seeking a Director of Quality Assurance and Accreditation to lead accreditation readiness and academic quality improvement across all programs and courses. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requires over 10 years of experience. The Director will maintain accreditation registers, coordinate evidence collection, manage corrective actions, and monitor quality data to identify improvement opportunities. The role also involves guiding faculty and staff readiness, maintaining audit-ready documentation, and supporting reliable reporting and continuous improvement aligned with RUA's strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the Academic Excellence department’s business plan from a Quality Assurance & Accreditation perspective.
• Develop and implement the operational plan for the Quality Assurance & Accreditation section.
• Participate in budgeting for the Academic Excellence department and ensure effective utilization of the section’s budget.
• Lead the design and implementation of Quality Assurance & Accreditation policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Stay updated on leading practices and trends in Quality Assurance & Accreditation, recommending corrective measures.
• Participate in talent identification and recruitment, and guide direct reports in executing duties.
• Lead and guide project management teams in planning and controlling functional or organizational projects.
• Maintain a register of relevant accreditation bodies, tracking standards, deadlines, and applicability to RUA programs.
• Develop and maintain an accreditation plan with clear timelines, responsibilities, and submission milestones.
• Manage accreditation feedback through root-cause analysis and tracked corrective action plans.
• Coordinate accreditation implementation across schools and colleges and oversee documentation collection and submission.
• Maintain a centralized, audit-ready repository of accreditation and quality documentation.
• Design and administer quality data collection activities, analyze results, and translate findings into measurable quality initiatives.
• Build institutional readiness by delivering targeted training and guidance to faculty and staff on accreditation expectations.
• Map accreditation and quality workflows, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in quality assurance and accreditation, preferably within an academic institution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead accreditation processes and manage quality improvement initiatives.
• Experience in developing and implementing policies, processes, and procedures related to quality assurance.
• Proficiency in data analysis for identifying quality gaps and reporting on performance metrics.
• Strong organizational skills for managing documentation and coordinating across multiple departments.
