Role Overview

The EHS & Security Coop Trainee will contribute to defining and implementing IT Security strategies, ensuring alignment with Group Security objectives. This position involves supporting the development and execution of strategies for key areas of responsibility, providing specialist advice, and managing budgets within the assigned scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement IT Security strategies within the assigned scope, aligning with Group Security and long-term business objectives.
• Lead the development and execution of strategies for significant areas, anticipating complex issues and ensuring integration with corporate strategy.
• Provide specialist advice to the leadership team to guide policy implementation and project execution.
• Manage area budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.
• Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with external requirements and integration with the corporate framework.
• Foster partnering relationships with senior executives to build professional credibility and ensure access to high-quality advice.
• Contribute to the development of corporate strategy by applying functional expertise and providing insights.
• Develop and gain agreement on annual business plans, quantifying business outcomes, detailing budgets, and developing business cases for key projects.
• Communicate the function's strategy and its relationship to the organization's mission, vision, and values.
• Manage and report on the performance of the function/business area, setting objectives for direct reports and ensuring accountability.
• Define the organization structure for a business area, aligning with corporate principles and defining responsibilities.
• Identify and develop capabilities needed to meet current and emerging business needs, evaluating current capabilities and prioritizing development activities.
• Represent the organization in industry, institutional, and professional forums to promote the company brand or efforts.
