About the Role

SETRA Saudi Electronic Trading & Contracting Company is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of various systems, ensuring their performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. Core Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for a range of critical tasks, including:

• Designing, engineering, and overseeing the installation of electrical, fire alarm, fire suppression, access control, intrusion detection, and automation systems for new projects, upgrades, and expansions.
• Developing and maintaining detailed electrical drawings, system schematics, technical specifications, and documentation.
• Collaborating with project management, operations, commissioning, and facility management teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Monitoring system performance, identifying technical issues, and troubleshooting faults across electrical, fire protection, security, and automation systems.
• Ensuring all systems comply with applicable safety codes, engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
• Adhering to all relevant safety, quality, health, and environmental procedures.
• Staying informed about advancements in electrical engineering, fire protection, security technologies, and automation systems.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a preference for experience in fire protection, security systems, automation, or industrial/building electrical systems.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).

Technical and Soft Skills

Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong understanding and practical application of various technical and interpersonal skills:

• A solid understanding of electrical systems, fire alarm, fire suppression, access control, intrusion detection, and automation system principles.
• Familiarity with PLCs, building automation systems, industrial communication networks, electrical distribution, and control systems.
• Proficiency in performing electrical engineering calculations, including load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and equipment sizing.
• Competence in engineering software such as AutoCAD.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate within a dynamic team environment.
