The Role: Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a Full-time Electrical Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This role involves contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring reliability and compliance with industry standards. The Electrical Engineer will play a key part in supporting our commitment to technological advancement and operational excellence within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review electrical systems, power distribution networks, control panels, and switchgear for new installations or upgrades.
• Supervise the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical equipment and systems.
• Monitor and maintain electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational reliability.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for electrical failures or breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, including IEC, IEEE, NEC, and local codes.
• Review and interpret electrical schematics, single line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
• Work with PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems as required.
• Coordinate with other departments such as mechanical, instrumentation, and production for cross-functional support.
• Conduct energy audits and recommend improvements for energy saving.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including maintenance logs, test reports, and compliance records.
• Support CAPEX projects by providing technical inputs and coordinating with vendors.
• Implement and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for electrical systems.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies, standards, and tools in the electrical engineering domain.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Demonstrated understanding of electrical systems design, installation, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with relevant electrical safety standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, local codes).
• Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams.
