About the Role

Amentum is seeking an Electrical Power Production Technician to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is centered on the maintenance, modification, and repair of electrical power generating and control systems, automatic transfer switches, and associated equipment. The technician will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of critical power infrastructure through scheduled maintenance and effective malfunction resolution.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Power Production Technician will perform a range of essential duties, including:

• Maintaining, modifying, and repairing electrical power generating and control systems, automatic transfer switches, and associated equipment.
• Performing scheduled periodic maintenance on various systems and components to ensure optimal performance.
• Adjusting generator systems to maintain proper voltage, current frequency, and synchronization.
• Identifying, recording, and repairing generator malfunctions by removing, repairing, or replacing defective power generating components.
• Working from blueprints and drawings, and operating a variety of electrician’s hand tools and testing instruments.

Specialized Systems and Equipment

This position requires specific expertise in maintaining a diverse range of power generation systems and related software. Key systems include, but are not limited to:

• Cummins generator series: DGDK, DSGAB, DGBB, C15D6, C35D6, and 125D6D.
• MEPP series: 1050, 1070A, and PP-3106A.
• Cummins Inpower software.
• Supporting various generator systems identified in Table ** – C2 Systems and Associated Support Equipment; Table ** ATCALS Systems and Associated Support Equipment; Table ** ATC Weather Systems and Associated Support equipment; Table ** C2 Air Control Squadron O&M Support, and Table ** Regional Maintenance Center O&M and Support Equipment.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of experience in the maintenance, modification, and repair of electrical power generating and control systems. A strong technical background and practical skills in diagnosing and resolving complex electrical issues are required.
