Sisco, a reputable organization in the electronics sector, is seeking a dedicated Electronics Technician (SMT, PCB Boards) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are ready to contribute to the assembly, testing, and repair of electronic components.

Role Overview

The Electronics Technician will be responsible for hands-on technical work involving electronic PCB boards and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) processes. This role requires a meticulous approach to ensure the functionality, quality, and reliability of electronic assemblies through various stages from production to maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic PCB boards.
  • Operate and support Surface Mount Technology (SMT) processes for electronic assemblies.
  • Diagnose PCB faults using appropriate electronic testing and measurement techniques.
  • Perform component-level soldering, desoldering, replacement, and rework.
  • Inspect electronic components and PCB assemblies for defects and workmanship issues.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance related to electronic boards and equipment.
  • Follow technical drawings, schematics, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing, repairs, faults, and replaced components.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of a Diploma or ITI in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or a related technical discipline.
  • Preference for candidates holding a Diploma in Electronics/ECE.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in a relevant electronics technician role.

Essential Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in electronic PCB board assembly, inspection, and testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and support SMT processes.
  • Competence in diagnosing PCB faults and utilizing electronic testing equipment.
  • Skilled in component-level soldering, desoldering, and rework techniques.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
