Job Description

About the Role

Coastal Contracting Company, a subsidiary of Red Sea Global, is seeking a full-time BIM Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This role focuses on supporting the design, coordination, and delivery of modular construction projects, with a primary emphasis on the architectural scope.

Role Purpose

The BIM Engineer will utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies to develop, manage, and maintain 3D models. A core responsibility is to ensure full integration and compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards. This position involves collaboration with project teams, architects, engineers, and contractors to facilitate accurate modeling, fabrication, and efficient installation of modular components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, modify, and manage detailed 3D BIM models for architectural elements using Revit software, ensuring seamless integration with structural, MEP, and other design disciplines.
  • Develop accurate and detailed BIM models for modular fit-out elements (such as interior partitions, flooring, ceilings, doors, and windows) and façade systems (including cladding, glazing, and external finishes), coordinating with design teams for proper detailing.
  • Coordinate the architectural BIM model with structural, MEP engineers, contractors, and fabrication teams to ensure seamless component integration in modular construction, including identifying and resolving conflicts or clashes.
  • Generate detailed drawings, schedules, and reports from the BIM model for construction, fabrication, and installation phases, maintaining accurate records of design changes.
  • Work closely with modular fabrication teams to translate architectural designs into modular components and review fabrication and shop drawings for alignment with the BIM model and design intent.
  • Ensure all BIM models and documentation meet quality standards, project specifications, building codes, regulations, and client requirements, performing regular model audits and updates.
  • Follow relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions, and assist in preparing accurate and timely installation reports for the RSG Procurement team.
  • Apply safety, quality, and environmental management policies and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, high-quality delivery, and responsible environmental practices.
  • Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices, considering international best practice, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.

Working Relationships

The BIM Engineer will collaborate internally with the C3 Group as applicable, Red Sea Global (RSG), and the Client Project team. External interactions will include suppliers/subcontractors, operators/end users, and auditors as required.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in BIM engineering, particularly within modular construction projects and architectural scope.
