About the Role

alfanar is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join its operations in Riyadh. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience. alfanar operates construction and manufacturing businesses, design & development centers, and various facilities across the Middle East and other regions, with alfanar Building Systems recognized as a Grade I contractor.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to create detailed electrical system designs and schematics for diverse projects. This involves analyzing project requirements, developing and testing electrical systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and reliable designs. The engineer will provide innovative solutions that meet technical specifications and project objectives while optimizing performance and cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical system designs, schematics, and layouts that align with project specifications and industry standards.
• Perform electrical load calculations, system simulations, and performance analyses to ensure designs are efficient, reliable, and compliant with relevant codes and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring accuracy and currency.
• Ensure all designs comply with national and local electrical codes, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.
• Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate electrical systems with other building systems and project requirements.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical advice, and present design concepts and solutions.
• Review and approve design modifications and changes, ensuring alignment with project goals and specifications.
• Identify and resolve design issues, conduct system testing, and provide solutions to technical problems during the implementation phase.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and solutions.
