The Role of an English Copywriter

LEO MEA is seeking an English Copywriter to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is for a hands-on copywriter with a natural storytelling ability and 2-5 years of experience within an agency setting. The role involves developing conceptually driven campaigns and crafting compelling copy in English for global brands. The successful candidate will ensure creative ideas align with both client and business objectives, while upholding the company’s standards for creative excellence and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, proofread, and edit various texts, including copy and product descriptions, ensuring content consistency.
• Collaborate with art personnel to develop creative concepts for marketing materials and campaigns.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of 1:1 marketing channels and utilize data intelligence to address communication challenges.
• Make conceptual and strategic decisions across a diverse range of clients and industries.
• Receive briefs, craft succinct and effective copy, write and format copy decks, and accurately interpret brand tone of voice and language.
• Develop and execute strategically sound creative for cross-channel initiatives.
• Present ideas persuasively to internal teams and clients, providing credibility and clear reasoning.
• Actively listen to fully understand client and internal feedback.
• Ensure all communications are produced to the highest standards of accuracy and quality control.
• Generate fresh ideas and infuse personality while working within established brand voice and tone guidelines.
• Conceptualize and write diverse content, ranging from white papers and scripts to in-store signage and social media.
• Conduct research on competitors and industry trends to provide insights and creative foresight.
• Partner with other creatives to ensure a cohesive story across ideas, copy, and design.
• Collaborate with creative leaders to proactively seek out and contribute action-oriented and thought-provoking ideas.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Investigate industry best practices and new possibilities.
• Regularly participate in opportunity briefs to continuously develop creative abilities.

Qualifications
