About the Opportunity

Leo Burnett, a global communications agency and part of Publicis Groupe, is seeking a Senior Arabic Copywriter to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on transforming human behavior through creativity, data, and technology, contributing to advertising campaigns for global brands.

Role Overview

The Senior Arabic Copywriter will be responsible for developing compelling and effective concepts and copy in Arabic for various advertising campaigns. This position involves close collaboration with the creative team to craft communication pieces across multiple mediums, ensuring messages effectively achieve campaign goals and resonate with target audiences. The role also includes managing projects from concept through final execution and overseeing junior copywriters.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and edit various texts, including copy and product descriptions, and perform proofreading.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of all prepared content.
• Collaborate with an Art Director to develop creative concepts for marketing materials and campaigns.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of 1:1 marketing channels.
• Utilize data intelligence to address communication challenges effectively.
• Make conceptual and strategic decisions across diverse client portfolios and industries.
• Interpret briefs, craft succinct and effective copy, write and format copydecks, and apply brand tone of voice.
• Develop and execute strategically sound creative for cross-channel initiatives.
• Present work persuasively to both internal teams and clients, demonstrating credibility and clear reasoning.
• Actively listen to and integrate client and internal feedback.
• Ensure all communications meet the highest standards of accuracy and quality control.
• Generate fresh ideas and maintain brand personality within established voice and tone guidelines.
• Conceptualize and write content ranging from white paper ideas and scripts to in-store signage and social media posts.
• Conduct research on competitors and industry trends to provide creative foresight and insights.
• Partner with creatives to ensure a cohesive narrative across idea, copy, and design.

Qualifications and Experience

• Saudi National.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field of study.
• At least 5 years of experience in concept creation, with a clear understanding of the distinction between a communication concept and an executional idea.
• Demonstrated mastery in developing Arabic copy for large cross-channel and/or direct-marketing initiatives across both online and offline media.
• Proven experience working in an agency environment, creating conceptually driven campaigns and crafting Arabic copy for global brands.
