The Arabic Copywriter Role

Publicis Groupe is seeking an Arabic Copywriter to join the team in Jeddah. This full-time position is for a hands-on copywriter with a natural storytelling ability and 2-5 years of experience working in an agency environment. The role involves creating conceptually driven campaigns and crafting copy, including for global brands, while maintaining high standards of creative excellence and professionalism.

Core Responsibilities

  • Write texts, including copy and product descriptions, and perform proofreading and content editing.
  • Ensure consistency across all prepared content.
  • Collaborate with an Art team member to develop creative concepts for marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of all channels within the 1:1 marketing space.
  • Utilize data intelligence to address communication challenges effectively.
  • Make conceptual and strategic decisions for a diverse range of clients and industries.
  • Take briefs, craft succinct and effective copy, and format copy decks while interpreting brand tone of voice and language.
  • Develop and execute strategically sound creative for cross-channel initiatives.
  • Present ideas persuasively, both internally and to clients, with credibility and clear reasoning.
  • Actively listen to understand client and internal feedback.
  • Ensure communications are produced to the highest standards of accuracy and quality control.
  • Deliver fresh ideas and personality while adhering to existing brand voice and tone.
  • Conceptualize and write various content types, from white paper ideas and scripts to in-store signage and social media content.
  • Research competitors and industry trends to provide insights and creative foresight.
  • Partner with other creatives to ensure cohesive storytelling across ideas, copy, and design.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience in an agency setting, with a proven track record in creating conceptually driven campaigns. A strong portfolio demonstrating creative talent across different mediums is essential for this role.
