About the Role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is designed as a hybrid position, requiring an average of two days per week from an HPE office. The Enterprise Architect is responsible for designing solutions that achieve customer business outcomes, leveraging HPE's portfolio and necessary third-party components.

Key Responsibilities

• Orchestrate the design of complex proposals to deliver and communicate tangible business value to customers.
• Mitigate risk by managing both customer and company stakeholder expectations.
• Critically review proposals, applying market intelligence and thought leadership to translate functional views into technical views, enhancing proposed workload-optimized solutions.
• Lead teams to develop and present high-level, outcome-based solutions to customer business challenges, translating business needs into functional solution designs.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of adjacent technologies, current and emerging technologies, and trends.
• Drive the Account Business Planning process, leveraging industry trends and the customer’s technical environment.
• Facilitate and lead deep-dive discussions with clients and account teams to build relationships, understand business needs, evaluate the customer's ecosystem, and advocate technical strategies for customer transformation.
• Identify acceptable technical solution trade-offs, risks, and suggest possible remediation.
• Drive collaboration among internal account teams, provide guidance, and engage the full portfolio of partners to build effective solution strategies.
• Proactively build the pipeline by identifying opportunities within the account and monitor active deals from opportunity to close.
• Engage with and build consultative presence and advisory influence with VPs, CxOs, and line-of-business management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Advanced degree in technology or a related field preferred, or equivalent technical qualifications.
• Over 12 years of technical experience in IT, with a focus on technical consulting and solution selling.
• Two or more industry-standard relevant technology certifications or equivalent experience.
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and project management methodologies and certifications is beneficial.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Proven experience leading solution configurations, overall architecture design, and creating/positioning demos and proofs-of-concept (POCs).
• Comprehensive understanding of the company's portfolio of products, software, services, and solution domain specialization, including how they address customer needs and adapt for strategic solutions.
• Deep working knowledge of the as-a-service (aaS) business model, its business value, and complete ecosystem.
• Expert ability to collaborate cross-functionally to generate new revenue through increased subscription consumption and other aaS models.
• Strong financial and business acumen, including sales cycle, funnel management, reporting, and understanding of TCO/ROI concepts and financial models.
• Proficiency in consultative and value selling skills, advisory influence, and executive gravitas, including presenting, whiteboarding, storytelling, and objection handling.
• Strong resource management skills, including effective engagement of SMEs/specialists.
• Hands-on experience with multiple products, solutions, tools, or services relevant to the role.
• Ability to design, develop, and deliver live demonstrations or walkthroughs of products, solutions, tools, or services.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong project and time management abilities.
