About the Role
Lifera is seeking an External Affairs Senior Specialist to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to managing and enhancing the organization's relationships with key external stakeholders, including government entities, regulatory bodies, strategic partners, and community organizations. The specialist will ensure alignment with national priorities and support strategic initiatives, while also contributing to selected business development activities that involve external partnerships and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, regulatory authorities, and external partners.
- Monitor relevant policies, regulations, and national programs; prepare briefs and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver communication materials for external audiences, including reports, presentations, and official correspondence.
- Support leadership in preparing for external meetings, conferences, and events by developing agendas, talking points, and follow-up actions.
- Represent the organization in external meetings, workshops, and committees.
- Track emerging issues that may impact the organization and coordinate internal responses.
- Prepare periodic reports on stakeholder engagement activities, risks, and opportunities.
Business Development Support
- Assist in identifying new partnership opportunities that align with organizational goals.
- Support the development of proposals, concept notes, and partnership frameworks.
- Conduct basic market scans and opportunity assessments to support decision-making processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams to evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of new initiatives.
- Maintain follow-ups with potential partners and contribute to the development of MoUs and collaboration agreements.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in external affairs, government relations, or business development.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in monitoring policies and regulations, with the ability to prepare concise briefs and recommendations.
- Proficiency in developing communication materials for external audiences.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, requiring active engagement with both internal teams and external partners to achieve organizational objectives.
