Facilities Management Engineer (FM Engineer)

About the Role

Qureos is seeking a Facilities Management Engineer (FM Engineer) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the technical handover of university facilities and ensuring all systems are operational and compliant. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Facilities Management Engineer will play a critical role in the transition of university buildings from the construction phase to full operation and maintenance. This involves rigorous verification of systems, documentation, and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical handover process for university facilities from contractors and consultants.
• Attend, witness, and verify all Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities for building systems.
• Review and verify all handover documents, including As-Built Drawings, O&M Manuals, Warranties, Test Reports, and Asset Registers.
• Ensure all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems are fully operational and compliant with project specifications prior to acceptance.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to close all punch list items and outstanding defects.
• Support the transition of buildings from the construction phase to operation and maintenance.
• Conduct technical inspections and recommend acceptance or rejection based on project requirements.
• Prepare handover status reports and monitor progress until final acceptance.
• Support the Facilities Management (FM) team in establishing preventive maintenance requirements and asset data before operational handover.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in facilities management, technical handover, or a related engineering field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and verify technical documentation and system compliance.
• Experience with Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities for building systems.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams within a university facilities context.
