About the Role

Yo AI Labs is seeking a Financial Systems & Accounting Expert to join a customer project focused on accounting operations, financial reporting, and ERP systems. This contract role, available worldwide, involves applying accounting judgment and financial systems expertise to evaluate and improve AI-generated outputs and training data. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Context and Focus

This role is central to enhancing the accuracy and reliability of AI in financial contexts. The expert will critically assess AI-generated accounting information and contribute to the development of robust AI training data. A key aspect of this position involves prior experience in AI training or human-data work; simply using AI features within accounting software does not meet this qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy, calculations, journal entries, and appropriate accounting treatments.
• Review and annotate financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close workpapers.
• Identify accounting errors, misstatements, and inconsistencies, providing clear rationale and appropriate corrections.
• Assess accounting workflows and financial systems logic across platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, and Dynamics 365.
• Apply written rubrics to evaluate, rank, and grade AI-generated responses.
• Create realistic accounting scenarios, examples, and reference answers for AI training purposes.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to improve model performance and accounting accuracy.
• Support financial processes from transaction recording through month-end close and financial reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, and ERP systems.
• Demonstrated experience in AI training or human-data work.
• Proficiency with various financial systems, including NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, and Dynamics 365.
• Strong accounting judgment and analytical skills.
