About the Finance Operations Role at Meituan

Meituan is seeking a Finance Operations Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on developing financial solutions, optimizing systems, and improving processes to support business growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop financial solutions (settlement & accounting) by understanding business requirements, scenarios, and financial impacts, integrating accounting principles, settlement rules, and compliance.
• Collaborate with product and R&D teams to enhance financial systems, focusing on online billing/settlement, automated accounting entries, data validation, and system upgrades.
• Lead initiatives to streamline financial operations and improve system workflows, identifying and resolving financial issues to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct analysis of operational metrics, prepare monthly operational reports, and manage accounts payable-related data analytics.
• Partner with business units, finance product/R&D teams, Financial Business Partners, treasury, tax, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective execution.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• More than 5 years of experience in finance or finance operations, with a preference for experience in supply chain finance, procurement settlement, or accounts payable (AP).
• Demonstrated strong logical thinking and risk awareness.
• Proven success in independently developing and implementing financial solutions.

Essential Skills

• Excellent cross-departmental communication and project management skills.
• Ability to effectively coordinate resources across finance, R&D, business, and other departments.
• Proficiency in data processing tools, with experience in SQL or database querying preferred.
