Role Overview

The Finance Operations Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reporting. This position involves supporting various financial processes, including statement preparation, compliance, and closing activities. The specialist will work closely with internal teams and external auditors to maintain high standards of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial records, reports, and supporting schedules.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Assist with external audit requirements and coordinate with auditors.
Maintain accurate accounting documentation and supporting records.
Support the implementation and enhancement of financial controls and processes.
Support in the calculation and validation of Alternative Investment Funds Net Asset Values.
Support in the preparation of regulatory reports for Alternative Investment Funds.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role are expected to have between 5 and 10 years of relevant experience in finance operations or a related field. A strong understanding of financial reporting standards, particularly IFRS, is essential. Experience with investment management accounting and Alternative Investment Funds is highly desirable.
