About Mudad and the Role

Mudad is a semi-governmental fintech company established to support Saudi Arabia’s National Transformation Program 2020. The company modernizes payroll management across the Kingdom by providing a specialized digital platform that helps organizations streamline salary administration and payroll processes. Mudad focuses on improving the quality, transparency, and compliance of wage management, particularly for small and medium-sized establishments. We are seeking a Senior Financial Operations Analyst to join our full-time team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, contributing to a more robust and reliable payroll ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management reports, financial reports, and performance dashboards.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Perform hands-on financial reconciliations, financial analysis, and data validation.
  • Apply accounting principles, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
  • Contribute expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Interpret financial data to provide actionable insights for operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a strong accounting background is preferred.
  • 5-10 years of overall professional experience, with 2-5 years specifically in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, including the Statement of Financial Position, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.
  • Good understanding of core accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of Saudi tax and Zakat regulations is preferred.

Technical Proficiencies

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, and advanced formulas.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial modeling, forecasting, and variance reporting.
  • Proficiency with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; Oracle ERP experience is a plus.
  • Ability to prepare clear financial reports and management summaries.
