Financial Controller

About the Role

Siddiqi & Co is seeking a Financial Controller to manage all financial operations. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves overseeing budgets, tax compliance, financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in financial control.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Finance Operations Director to establish and optimize three key sub-functions: revenue management, accounts payable, and financial reporting & consolidation.
• Lead the ERP implementation process, including overseeing data migration and system setup to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence.
• Oversee consolidation and financial reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate monthly and annual closings.
• Develop and implement financial controls, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and automation tools to enhance workflow efficiency and standardize processes across the finance function.
• Monitor the company’s financial health and performance, proactively identifying improvement opportunities and spearheading initiatives for positive change.
• Stay current with advancements in financial technologies and software, leveraging them to automate processes and streamline operations.
• Mentor and develop the financial controlling team, fostering leadership and preparing future finance leaders.

Core Functions

The Financial Controller will be responsible for critical financial operations, including audits, cash management, asset and liability reconciliation, and safeguarding financial records. This role ensures the integrity and accuracy of financial data and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in financial control or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in managing financial operations, including budgeting, tax compliance, and financial analysis.
• Proven ability to lead ERP implementation processes.
• Experience in developing and implementing financial controls and SOPs.
