The Role: Financial Reporting Assistant Manager

FlyAkeed is seeking a Financial Reporting Assistant Manager to join its team in Riyadh Province. This full-time role involves supporting the preparation, analysis, and review of financial reporting activities. The position ensures compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal policies, and reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial reporting experience, preferably from a leading audit firm, combined with solid Financial Management & Valuation (FM&V) knowledge and professional certification such as CMA. A minimum of 5-10 years of experience is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial reporting data.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reporting packages.
• Review financial information and accounting treatments to ensure compliance with applicable IFRS/GAAP and company policies.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, Finance teams, and external auditors to address reporting requirements and audit queries.
• Support the year-end closing process and ensure timely completion of financial reporting activities.
• Analyze financial results, variances, trends, and key performance indicators, providing insights to management.
• Assist in developing financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses as required.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of financial reporting processes, controls, and procedures.
• Identify reporting risks and recommend improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
• Prepare presentations and financial analysis for senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, financial reporting regulations, and best practices.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members when required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in financial statement preparation, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
• Professional certification such as CMA is preferred.
• Experience from a leading audit firm is preferred.

• Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in financial reporting systems/ERP.
