Role Overview

Smart Directions Company is seeking a Fire Alarm Systems Programmer Engineer with expertise in EDWARDS EST3 and EST4 Fire Alarm Systems. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves programming, configuring, and commissioning fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, configure, and commission EDWARDS EST3 and EST4 Fire Alarm Systems.
• Perform system testing, verification, and final commissioning procedures.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and conduct system diagnostics.
• Configure networked fire alarm systems and ensure proper integration with field devices.
• Review project drawings, specifications, cause-and-effect matrices, and other technical documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and clients throughout project execution.
• Prepare commissioning reports, testing documentation, and as-built records.
• Provide technical support, maintenance, system upgrades, and modifications.
• Ensure all work complies with project specifications, applicable codes, and fire protection standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in programming and commissioning EDWARDS EST3 and EST4 Fire Alarm Systems.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in fire alarm systems.
• Proficiency in system testing, verification, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret project drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of fire protection codes and standards.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires direct involvement in project sites and collaboration with various stakeholders.
