The Role of Flight Operations Specialist

Alsalam Aerospace Industries is seeking a Flight Operations Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves working under an assigned management structure and reporting to the relevant Directorate of Operations. The specialist will be responsible for critical aspects of flight planning, coordination, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procedures for aircraft scheduling and crew assignment.
• Review flight plans for accuracy and coordinate flight planning activities.
• Process local and cross-country flight clearances in accordance with applicable operational procedures.
• Maintain accurate flight logs for incoming and outgoing flights, as well as individual flight records.
• Interpret, monitor, and communicate relevant weather reports and operational weather information.
• Coordinate with emergency and crash response teams in the event of aircraft emergencies.
• Develop, prepare, review, and update training materials, publications, syllabi, examinations, and other instructional documentation as required.
• Advise commanders and relevant management on operational training requirements and development needs.
• Perform instructional duties for aviation operations personnel in both classroom and field environments.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in flight operations. The role requires a professional who can effectively manage complex operational procedures and contribute to the training and development of aviation personnel.
