FO Migration Functional BA

Position Overview

Luxoft is seeking a Front Office Migration Functional BA to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is integral to a significant Murex greenfield implementation project for a large banking client.

Project Context

The project involves a Murex greenfield implementation, focusing on the migration and upgrade of Front Office trading, pricing, and risk functionalities. This may include transitioning from an older Murex version (*, * * to ** or migrating from a legacy trading system to Murex.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the migration and upgrade of Front Office trading, pricing, and risk functionalities within the Murex platform.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate migration and validation of trade capture, pricing, and market risk functionalities.
• Work with Front Office users to validate P&L, sensitivities (Greeks), and risk figures both pre and post-migration.
• Apply extensive experience in Murex workflow, covering trade life cycle, system interface workflow creation, confirmation generation, error management, and OSP.
• Support data migration activities, including trade migration, static data migration, reconciliation of legacy versus Murex positions, and trade mapping.
• Propose enhancements to existing solutions leveraging analytical and technical expertise.
• Coordinate cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-go-live support.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated strong knowledge of Murex *
• Substantial expertise in Murex, with 7 to 10 years of overall experience, including 5 to 7 years dedicated to migration projects.
• Solid understanding of financial products such as IRD, FXD, bonds, repos, commodities, and equities.
• Strong hands-on experience with Murex (* or ** across configuration, workflows, or functional modules (FO/MO/BO, Risk, Collateral, Confirmations, Accounting, Payments).
• Strong hands-on functional experience with Murex *, specifically Front Office modules (Trade Capture, Pricing, Market Data, Pre-Deal/Post-Deal workflows).
• Experience in at least one full-cycle Murex implementation or migration project.
• Experience with data migration and reconciliation methodologies.

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with SQL, Murex Datamart, or reporting tools is considered a plus.
