About the Opportunity

ByteDance, through its BytePlus division, is seeking a GenAI Account Executive, Innovative Technical Sales. This role is a 12-month temporary assignment based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will focus on expanding BytePlus's business across the MENA region. The successful candidate will operate as a third-party associate, managed by an external agency.

Role Context

The BytePlus team, a division of ByteDance, develops innovative technologies and products designed to support businesses in their growth. This position involves contributing to the expansion of ByteDance's innovation technology solution suite, focusing on driving new customer adoption and revenue growth within the MENA market.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a sustainable pipeline for ByteDance's innovation technology solutions.
• Expand BytePlus business across the MENA region, focusing on new logo adoption.
• Develop and implement strategies for customer base expansion, utilizing consultative sales approaches.
• Execute Go-to-Market strategies and drive revenue through effective sales closure activities.
• Lead and monitor demand generation activities, managing the end-to-end sales process and customer journey.
• Provide accurate reporting on sales and business activities, including forecasting.
• Ensure smooth customer onboarding, drive full adoption and usage of solutions, and secure customer satisfaction and referrals.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • Completed bachelor's degree.
  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, resilience, and proficiency in developing and entering new markets.
  • Strong client relationship management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Agile, entrepreneurial, results-oriented, with a proactive attitude.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Additional proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable for collaboration with MENA clients and stakeholders.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in computer science or engineering, with strong business acumen; an MBA is a plus.
  • Experience in Telco, cloud computing, video cloud, or AI/ML industries.
  • Experience in consultative sales or solution sales.
  • Established resources and relationships with regional customers and partners, with a deep understanding of Pan Internet and emerging sectors (*, gaming, eCommerce, media, sports, entertainment).
  • Experience in AI content generation and agentic solutions.
  • Background in consulting.
