About the Role

Larck Agency is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join our team in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for a candidate with 0-1 years of experience who possesses an advanced visual sense and a strong understanding of marketing and branding. The successful candidate will be capable of translating creative briefs and innovative ideas into integrated visual systems that achieve strategic goals while preserving the unique identity of each brand. This position focuses on strategic creative work, including campaign development, visual identity creation, and transforming marketing concepts into clear, distinctive visual experiences, rather than producing repetitive daily designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop visual ideas and trends for marketing and advertising campaigns.
• Transform creative concepts into executable visual concepts.
• Design digital campaigns and content for social media platforms.
• Develop Key Visuals for campaigns.
• Design Performance Marketing advertisements across various sizes and platforms.
• Create multiple visual routes for projects and campaigns.
• Develop seasonal, event, and launch designs.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions with content, strategy, and marketing teams.
• Design high-quality social media content, carousels, infographics, digital ads, stories, reels assets, website and landing page visuals, presentations, company profiles, campaign adaptations, and marketing/sales materials.

Brand and Visual Identity Development

The Graphic Designer is responsible for understanding a brand thoroughly before commencing design work. This includes:

• Working in strict adherence to each client's Brand Guidelines.
• Developing and expanding visual systems for brands.
• Maintaining visual consistency across various communication touchpoints.
• Developing scalable layout systems and design languages.
• Designing brand assets and marketing materials.
• Demonstrating the ability to differentiate between client identities and avoid applying a single visual style across all projects.

The objective is for each brand to possess its own distinct visual personality, extending beyond mere logo and color changes.

Creative Thinking and AI Integration

We seek a designer who thinks critically before engaging with design software. Expected contributions include:

• Reading and thoroughly understanding creative briefs.
• Conducting professional reference research.
• Studying competitors and visual trends within the industry.
• Developing mood boards.
• Proposing art directions.
• Presenting visual ideas proactively, rather than awaiting detailed instructions.
• Explaining and justifying design decisions.
• Continuously exploring new methods for visual idea presentation.

The designer is also expected to be proficient in leveraging Artificial Intelligence within the creative process, including:

• Concept Exploration.
• Visual Ideation.
• Moodboards.
• Image Generation.
• Image Manipulation.
• Developing advertising scenes and ideas.
• Accelerating research and exploration processes.
• Producing visual assets as needed.

Performance-Driven Design Approach

While aesthetic appeal is important, design at Larck Agency is also measured by its effectiveness. The designer will collaborate closely with the Media Buying and Content teams to understand:

• Which creatives yield optimal results.
• The most effective visual hooks.
• Which designs contribute to higher Click-Through Rates (CTR).
• Factors contributing to creative fatigue.
• Strategies for developing effective variations without diluting the core idea.
• Methods to balance brand consistency with performance objectives.

Success Metrics and Application

Success in this role will be evaluated based on the following Key Performance Indicators:

• Creative Quality: Measured by the originality and quality of visual outputs, strength of ideas and visual concepts, execution level and attention to detail, quality of typography, composition, and layout, and the ability to construct strong Key Visuals.
• Brand Adherence: Assessed by commitment to visual identity, consistency, the ability to develop distinct visual languages for each client, and the quality of identity application across various channels.
• Performance Impact: Evaluated by the performance of advertising creatives, design development based on campaign data, the quality and speed of creative testing, and the ability to produce effective variations.
• Execution Efficiency: Determined by adherence to deadlines, accuracy of files and outputs, organization of work files and resources, the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, and responsiveness to feedback for effective improvement.
• Innovation: Measured by the presentation of new visual ideas and directions, the level of research and exploration, efficient utilization of AI tools and modern technologies, and contribution to elevating the team's overall creative standard.

Candidates are required to submit a CV and a portfolio. The portfolio will be the most critical element in evaluating applications. Preferred portfolio content includes work in: Branding, Creative Campaigns, Social Media, Digital Advertising, Key Visuals, and Visual Concepts.
