H B Electrical / Avionics Training instructor

About the Role

Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance is seeking an H B Electrical / Avionics Training Instructor. This fixed-term position is based in Taif, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves developing and delivering specialized training programs for H125 B2 Electrical / Avionics systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Study and analyze customer training regulations to ensure compliance.
• Develop Course Training Standards, Course Instructional Plans, and Course Synopses in accordance with customer regulations.
• Create Basic and Advanced Specialty courses tailored to customer requirements.
• Edit and update the Master Training Plan as needed.
• Perform On-The-Job Training (OJT) for customer technicians using pre-developed training aids.

Operational Duties

• Comply with all Aviation, Safety, Quality, and Export Control Regulations and Procedures.
• Adhere to all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies, and Regulations.
• Inspect tools and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for condition and expiration dates before any training activity, ensuring correct use.
• Check components and parts for condition (damages, leaks) and verify documentation applicability before starting training.
• Inspect electric, avionic instrument, and flight control systems, including autopilots.
• Ensure all work performed is recorded on appropriate paperwork and signed off progressively.
• Ensure correct use and control of aircraft parts and materials.
• Verify aircraft status regarding scheduled tasks and deferred items, confirm serviceability, and sign the Release to Service.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and technical publications.

Training and Evaluation

• Evaluate the performance of assigned customer trainees.
• Conduct on-the-job training activities.
• Train personnel on the use of maintenance manuals.
• Instruct personnel in all safety directives and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support training objectives.
