Role Overview

The Head of Legal will be responsible for leading the legal function within the company, serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership. This role involves providing comprehensive legal guidance across various business activities and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the legal function and act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership.
• Provide legal advice on commercial contracts, regulatory matters, statutory obligations, and business activities.
• Draft and negotiate complex contracts, transactions, and agreements.
• Identify and manage legal and compliance risks, offering practical, business-focused recommendations.
• Lead significant disputes, litigation, investigations, and legal projects.
• Advise on regulatory, licensing, employment, and other key legal matters.
• Manage and develop legal resources and support junior legal professionals.
• Build and maintain relationships with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a legal role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a legal function and provide strategic advice.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts, regulatory frameworks, and statutory obligations.
