About Node Technologies and the Role

Node Technologies is seeking a Head of Project Management Office to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position responsible for leading the company’s project delivery function and managing a team of Project Managers across various client-facing technology initiatives.

Role Overview

The Head of Project Management Office will oversee the delivery of client-facing technology, digital transformation, systems integration, and implementation projects. This role requires substantial experience in a vendor-side, system integrator, IT services, or consulting environment, with a proven ability to manage project delivery under contractual scope, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and client acceptance requirements. The successful candidate will provide clear and regular visibility to the CEO and senior management on project performance, risks, escalations, resource constraints, client issues, and required corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Project Managers, assigning projects based on complexity, priorities, and resource availability.
• Supervise Project Managers to ensure proper control of scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, resources, stakeholders, and documentation.
• Support and intervene in critical projects facing delays, delivery challenges, resource conflicts, or client escalations.
• Ensure consistent project management practices and oversee the delivery of technology, software, infrastructure, cloud, data, AI, ERP, CRM, systems integration, and digital transformation projects.
• Monitor project health, ensuring corrective actions are taken for delayed, at-risk, or underperforming projects, and that delivery aligns with signed contracts and quality expectations.
• Oversee project reporting, providing consolidated and accurate updates to the CEO and senior management, highlighting key risks, delays, and required decisions.
• Act as a senior escalation point for client-facing delivery issues, project risks, and scope-related matters, supporting Project Managers in client communications and executive updates.
• Ensure strict control over project scope, oversee risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and mitigation actions, and review change requests.
• Coordinate with commercial, account management, legal, procurement, technical, and delivery teams when changes have contractual or financial impact.
• Coordinate with delivery managers, technical leads, department heads, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project resource needs are met, and resolve resource conflicts.
• Ensure project deliverables meet agreed quality standards and client requirements, promoting delivery discipline and capturing lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in project management, program delivery, or technology implementation.
• At least 3–5 years of experience managing Project Managers.
• Strong experience in a technology vendor, system integrator, IT services provider, software vendor, or consulting/professional services company.
• Proven track record overseeing multiple client-facing projects delivered under contractual scope, timelines, budgets, and acceptance requirements.
• Extensive experience in client escalations, scope control, delivery risks, executive reporting, resource management, and change control.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, including Project Managers, business analysts, developers, QA, solution architects, infrastructure teams, vendors, subcontractors, and support teams.

Required Skills and Certifications

• Strong knowledge of project controls, reporting, risk management, change management, and delivery governance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, problem-solving, and escalation management skills.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent are preferred.
