About the Role

UCC Holding is seeking a Health Safety Environment (HSE) Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is ideal for a recent graduate with 0-1 years of experience, looking to contribute to the implementation of the company's HSE management system.

Role Overview

The HSE Engineer will support the Company HSE Manager or Project HSE Manager in executing the HSE management system. This role involves assisting in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and analysis of HSE activities at the site level to ensure that HSE targets and objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and adherence to the Project Health and Safety Management Plan (PHSP) and Project HSE Management Programme.
• Organize, conduct, and participate in training sessions, HSE Committee meetings, and Coordination Meetings.
• Provide advice to supervisory staff regarding accident prevention and improvements related to work methods.
• Support the leadership and supervision of onsite HSE officers.
• Monitor the execution of HSE activities on a project to ensure compliance with the project HSE plan and HSEMS requirements.
• Identify existing hazards, unsafe work conditions, and/or practices daily, and ensure observation reports are raised and corrective measures are recorded.
• Address and report violations on a daily basis, making necessary recommendations.
• Monitor the timely reporting of project HSE performance and ensure the achievement of HSE goals on the project.
• Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Environmental and Civil Engineering preferred).
• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
