About the Host/Hostess Role

Marriott International is seeking a Host/Hostess to join the team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves greeting guests, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring a positive dining experience. The role requires 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and determine the number in their party.
  • Seat guests efficiently at clean, available tables, ensuring proper place settings.
  • Guide guests through dining areas and provide assistance as needed.
  • Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, including organizing seating for groups with special needs.
  • Ensure menus are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, following clean-as-you-go procedures.
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.
  • Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Communicate professionally and clearly with guests and colleagues, including answering telephones with appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and address employee concerns appropriately.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
