About the Role

Bechtel Corporation is seeking an HR Generalist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position provides comprehensive HR Generalist support for Bechtel Business Services (BBS) People Operations HR Shared Services activities, contributing to the efficient functioning of HR operations within a global framework.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage HRMS (SAP) data processing and ensure data integrity.
  • Conduct data analytics, generate reports, and develop HR metrics.
  • Administer process mapping and process performance.
  • Process leave of absence requests, employee terminations, and severance.
  • Ensure region and country employment compliance, including employment contract administration.
  • Oversee global mobility assignment processes.
  • Administer benefits and provide support through the Employee Service Center (*, GOSI, medical plans, employment verification).
  • Handle global immigration HR administration, including COC, MOFA, Muqeem, QIWA, and Ministry of Human Resources requirements.
  • Facilitate exit/re-entry visa issuance and other critical government requirements, which may necessitate work during regular hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Level Degree in Human Resources with a minimum of 4 years of related work experience.
  • OR a Bachelor's Level Degree with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation, reporting, and graphics.
  • Mobility, with availability to travel or relocate for temporary or long-term project assignments if required.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience as an HR Generalist with a major multinational employer.
  • Proficiency in data analytics.
  • Knowledge of Saudi immigration and benefits administration.
  • Experience in staffing and recruitment.
  • Understanding of international HR areas, including expatriate assignments and relocation, immigration compensation, and expatriate tax.
  • Experience with HR employee and manager service centers.
  • Proficiency in HR master data input using SAP or other global HR systems.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma/Lean concepts, process mapping, and practices for process management.
  • Multilingual capabilities.
  • Experience living or working as an expatriate outside the country of origin.
